AltCap

Founded in 2008, AltCap is an ally for underestimated entrepreneurs and communities that have been historically overlooked by mainstream financial institutions. As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), its mission is to increase the flow of capital to these communities by providing a range of financing products, including small business loans, microloans, and financing through the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program. AltCap focuses on fueling economic and social impact, primarily within the Kansas City metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
