Founded in 1996 by Roger Allen and Roger Buckeridge, Allen & Buckeridge (A&B) was one of Australia's pioneering and leading venture capital firms during the dot-com era. The firm specialized in providing capital to early-stage companies in the information technology, telecommunications, and life sciences sectors. A&B played a significant role in developing Australia's technology startup ecosystem. After the dot-com bubble and subsequent market changes, the firm stopped raising new funds around 2008 and has since wound down its operations, managing its existing portfolio to maturity.
