Algomint

Algomint is a digital asset minter built on the Algorand blockchain, launched in 2021. Its core mission is to enhance liquidity and unlock new opportunities within the Algorand DeFi ecosystem by providing a decentralized and secure bridge. The platform allows users to lock native assets like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) in a secure, audited vault and mint a 1:1 wrapped version of these assets (e.g., goBTC, goETH) on the Algorand network. These wrapped assets can then be used across various Algorand-based DeFi applications, such as lending protocols, decentralized exchanges, and yield farming platforms.
