Agrobank

Established in 1969, Agrobank is a government-owned entity under the purview of the Minister of Finance Incorporated. Its primary mandate is to support the growth and development of Malaysia's agriculture sector. Evolving from its initial role as Bank Pertanian Malaysia, the bank was corporatized in 2008 and rebranded as Agrobank. It offers a full suite of Islamic banking products and services, including financing, savings, deposits, electronic banking, and Takaful insurance, specifically tailored to the needs of individuals, SMEs, and corporations within the agriculture and agro-based industries. The bank's mission is to empower the unbanked and underserved communities, driving agricultural advancement and food security for the nation.
