Advance Credit Union Ltd

Advance Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution that operates on a not-for-profit basis. Its core mission is to promote thrift among its members by encouraging regular savings and to provide access to credit at fair and reasonable interest rates. Formed from the merger of Birmingham City Council Employees Credit Union and Castle & Crystal Credit Union, it serves individuals who live or work within its designated common bond area. Unlike traditional banks, any surplus generated is returned to members through dividends or used to improve services, rather than being paid to external shareholders.
