Founded in 1936, Abilene Teachers Federal Credit Union (ATFCU) was established to serve the financial needs of teachers and their families. It has since grown into a community-chartered credit union serving over 38,000 members with assets exceeding $500 million. As a not-for-profit cooperative, its mission is to provide the best possible financial services to its members at the lowest possible cost, returning profits to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and improved services.
