Aavegotchi

Aavegotchi is an open-source, community-owned NFT gaming protocol that combines elements of DeFi and gaming. Initially developed by Singapore-based Pixelcraft Studios, the project is now governed by the AavegotchiDAO. The core of the game revolves around Aavegotchis, which are playable NFT avatars. The value and traits of these avatars are determined by the crypto-assets (Aave's aTokens) staked within them, their randomly generated traits, and the cosmetic "wearables" they are equipped with. The project runs on the Polygon network and features its own ecosystem token, GHST, used for governance, staking, and purchasing in-game assets. The mission is to create a transparent, community-governed game that seamlessly blends the worlds of decentralized finance and NFT-based gaming.
